Sample of colouring a drawing

The image on the left is a black and white drawing that we start with. On the right, the image has been given shade and highlights. Doesn’t matter whether you use markers, pens, pencils or digital the end result can still be very satisfying. If I get asked I have a lot of simple little characters that would be fun to shade and great practice for learning highlights and shadows even where to place reflected light.
